Designed with the road in mind Columbia’s Summit Utility and Passenger NEV (Neighborhood Electric Vehicle) models are “road ready.” Designed and built to meet applicable federal safety regulations Columbia’s NEV models are street legal on roads with posted speed limits of 35 miles per hour or less. Federal tax credits, grants, and government incentives may even help pay for your Summit.

SUMMIT safety
Engineered with your safety in mind, every Summit is equipped with a safety glass windshield, top speed limiting technology, automotive hydraulic brakes, horn and reverse warning beeper. All NEV models include adjustable rear view and side view mirrors, seat belts, reflectors, front and rear turn signals, head lamps and stop lamps. A tall profile and stable wheelbase further enhance the Summit’s safety.
