Ideal for regional carriers using CRJ's at outstations or hubs. 28.5 VDC Engine Drive GPU The Hobart Jet-Ex 5D utilizes a turbocharged Cummins 4-cylinder diesel and Hobart manufactured AC rectified alternator to provide the power necessary for starting even the most demanding aircraft. The Jet-Ex 5D and 5DZ now offer EPA Tier 2 compliant engines. AC/DC Combo Units If your ground power requirements call for both 28.5 VDC and 400 Hz AC, MCP offers both Hobart diesel driven and solid state models. The Hobart PoWerMaster ADV is available in 45, 60 and 90 kVA versions with the DC power option inside the unit. The new 2200 series units feature simultaneous AC/DC operation, ideal for cluttered hangars with limited space. All Hobart control panels allow the operator to select AC or DC power as required. The model 60CU24 provides 60kVA of AC power along with an internally mounted DC power supply. Other Hobart diesel GPUs offer the TR-1528 externally mounted unit. Central System 350kVA Solid State Frequency Converter For legacy or specific applications requiring paralleling or higher kVA ratings, the Hobart PowerMaster Central System frequency converter allows up to eight converters for up to 2,800 kVA of total power.
