The Advance RS 850 vacuum sweeper uses a 65 HP diesel engine that powers the machine over any city, urban or campus area with ease. With its durable construction and outstanding features – such as rear-steering and multiple brooms – this unit can easily handle surface irregularities and grade changes, plus other outdoor challenges. The RS 850 vacuum sweeper offers extended operator visibility, and can easily be maneuvered throughout any campus or city without disruption to pedestrians.

The Advance RS 850 outdoor rider sweeper boasts an impressive 63 inch sweep path, which increases up to 83 inches when the optional third broom is in operation. This three-broom combination ensures cleanliness down to the very edge. It also allows operators the versatility to reach a variety of outdoor areas that other units can’t reach, including cleaning around obstructions by simply adjusting the third broom to various heights. The third broom of the Advance RS 850 vacuum sweeper also provides the ability to clean on two different planes simultaneously. This combination of sweeping capability and performance was previously available only with bigger sweepers, but now you can get big-machine performance in a compact design. The result is real versatility with outstanding cleaning results.

Intelligent design boosts cleaning results

A large hydraulic impeller at the top of the hopper generates the powerful vacuum and suction of the RS 850 vacuum sweeper. The intelligent design of this unit provides easy access to all machine systems and to the engine. The Advance RS 850 vacuum sweeper contains replaceable side brushes, which provide ease of use and minimal downtime. The side brushes move the debris inward, allowing the operator to sweep close to curbs and walls on either side of the machine. The powerful center suction head channels and concentrates the vacuum air flow to capture debris, including fine particles. An operator-controlled hydraulic door between the front tires captures large debris such as bottles and rocks.
